Buffy the Vampire

I really was confused during this episode. I couldn't figure out what was real and was not. I think since I am not familiar with Buffy that I had a harder time understanding the episode. It was strange when the doctor and her parents were telling her to say that she did not have a sister. I did not like that scene because the concept of rejecting your family is dumb.

  1. I agree with you about the "concept of rejecting your family" because how does that help in any way? The episode required alot of attention because I would be confuse when I looked away for a few seconds. I did like how it is different from other episodes, which made it unique.

  2. The part about rejecting her sister was weird to me too. I think that maybe if we were more familiar with the series, that other pieces of information would be useful in determing the meaning of Buffy's parents rejecting the existence of her sister.

  3. I can relate to what your saying. Since you and me were in the group of like 5 people who didn't write their ARP on Buffy, I felt more confused then the rest of the class. Rejecting your family is also something that I agree is a dumb concept, but if she chose to believe that everything was real, wouldn't she be rejecting her parents?
